What a fabulous way to end the year! Thank you and all our friends at the Italian Open for your continued, generous support. Your gift will be directed to our innovative and groundbreaking adoption programs and will make a huge difference in the lives of children in foster care. All of these children want a family of their own, a family that will love them no matter what and be there for them even when times are rough.
At the Coalition, we believe that every child deserves a forever family. It’s up to us to find those special families who will open their hearts and homes to our kids who have been physically or sexually abused, abandoned, or neglected. Your gift helps us do that!
The good news is- our programs work! 30 Day Family prevents long stays in care by finding long lost family members as soon as a child comes into care. Last year, 79% of children served by 30 Days to Family were placed with relatives by case closure. This is crucial because many recent studies show that children do much better when placed with relatives while in foster care.
Joe, take a moment to soak up the knowledge that your gift has a powerful and positive impact on the lives of children in foster care. At last, because of you, they can have hope for a better future. They can, as one of our kids said recently,” Just be part of a normal family”.
